Steps to reproduce
Open Windows Terminal.
Open Settings Tab and give it focus.
Hold Alt while clicking Plus to open a new tab.
This doesn't seem to be the same issue as #15431.

Expected Behavior
Unintentionally holding
Alt
while trying to open a new tab when the Settings tab has focus should not crash Windows Terminal. When I right-click another tab, such as PowerShell, the option to Split Tab is there, but on Settings the menu choice is not there. So there seems to be some code path where Settings is seen to be a special tab. It just doesn't work with the keyboard.
Actual Behavior
The program becomes unresponsive. Sometimes the window gains a title bar with (Not Responding) at the end of it. The program closes unexpectedly.
I have submitted Feedback about this, against version 1.19.2682.0. Unfortunately I can't get a link to it because it isn't showing yet.
The first time I tried to capture a dump I caught a first chance exception, but I have not been able to cause that again.
The text was
Exception: E06D7363.?AVLogicError@Json@@
.I was able to cause the same behavior with Windows Terminal version 1.18.2822.0 also.
I installed Windows Terminal Preview version 1.19.2831.0, and the same issue happens.
I have created a
ProgDump -ma
file of 1.19.2831.0, in the attached zip.WindowsTerminal.exe_231112_205131.zip
I have created a screen recording in the [attached MP4].
