Hello,
How to Disable & Enable Word wrapping Console in Windows Terminal?
If this feature does not exist, please add it.

We are not planning to allow you to turn word wrapping off. It is on by default.

Why do you want it turned off?

We are not planning to allow you to turn word wrapping off. It is on by default.

Why do you want it turned off?

Only sometimes at runtime.

Wait could you elaborate more? Is there a specific scenario that doesn't work well with word wrap? There might be better tools or other bugs that would help more than "disabling word wrap sometimes".

By default, word wrap turned on, and no problem.
I want to toggle word wrap at runtime. (Like Visual Studio Code)

Both issues are closed now, however we don't have the possibility to disable the word wrap yet :(

Not having the option to disable the wrap has made windows terminal impossible to be used on a vertical screen.

This issue was closed.
