verification steps:

  1. create a project with python (just need to open a python file so it activates the extension then click on the testing tab from there)
  2. verify you can see the "Manage test configs" section in the dropdown

Even in a new profile, I don't see that menu item.
Is it behind a setting?

Test explorer not showing Manage Test Configs

oops sorry yeah its only possible with a extension implementing it which is not public yet on the python extension. I don't think this actually needs to be verified.
