Resized terminal width changes after reloading

Terminal set up like this:

The left most terminal has the right most edge aligned with the end of the TERMINAL label.

When I reload the window, the terminal looks like this:

Note that the left most terminal is narrower than before the reload.

Pretty low impact and the fix is likely pretty involved, closing off
