The problem is terminal theme does not look right as you can see in the image. I've seen some other issues which has been closed and they were for old versions of VS Code and mostly on Mac OS and Linux, but none of them helped me.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. I use zsh.exe terminal which comes with babun and also I use Antigen with zsh (oh-my-zsh)
  2. I use Powerlevel9k theme with Inconsolata Nerd Font Complete Mono Windows Compatible

I had the same problem with Agnoster theme and Powerline and Awesome fonts.
This is my .zshrc file:

# Path to your oh-my-zsh installation.
export ZSH=$HOME/.oh-my-zsh

# Path to Powerlevel9k theme installation
POWERLEVEL9K_INSTALLATION_PATH=$ANTIGEN_BUNDLES/bhilburn/powerlevel9k
POWERLEVEL9K_MODE='nerdfont-complete'

# Set name of the theme to load.
# Look in ~/.oh-my-zsh/themes/
# Optionally, if you set this to "random", it'll load a random theme each
# time that oh-my-zsh is loaded.
ZSH_THEME="babun"

# sensitive completion must be off. _ and - will be interchangeable.

# Uncomment the following line to change how often to auto-update (in days).
# export UPDATE_ZSH_DAYS=13

# COMPLETION_WAITING_DOTS="true"

# Uncomment the following line if you want to disable marking untracked files
# under VCS as dirty. This makes repository status check for large repositories

# Would you like to use another custom folder than $ZSH/custom?
# ZSH_CUSTOM=/path/to/new-custom-folder

# Which plugins would you like to load? (plugins can be found in ~/.oh-my-zsh/plugins/*)
# Custom plugins may be added to ~/.oh-my-zsh/custom/plugins/
# Example format: plugins=(rails git textmate ruby lighthouse)
# Add wisely, as too many plugins slow down shell startup.
plugins=(git)

# Set personal aliases, overriding those provided by oh-my-zsh libs,
# plugins, and themes. Aliases can be placed here, though oh-my-zsh
# users are encouraged to define aliases within the ZSH_CUSTOM folder.
# For a full list of active aliases, run `alias`.
#
# Example aliases
# alias zshconfig="mate ~/.zshrc"
# alias ohmyzsh="mate ~/.oh-my-zsh"

# Manage oh-my-zsh through Antigen
source ~/antigen.zsh
antigen use oh-my-zsh
antigen bundle zsh-users/zsh-syntax-highlighting
# antigen theme agnoster
antigen theme bhilburn/powerlevel9k powerlevel9k
antigen apply
