Would be nice to have support for allowing multiple Github accounts and storing configurations separately. For example, I have personal and work related Github accounts and I want to have the capability to launch two instances of code and repos that connect using different accounts.

Git (not VS Code) supports scoped configurations, please go through Git's documentation: https://git-scm.com/docs/git-config
