This is the 2nd time I'm seeing this - even with a different python3 version/path.

After leaving my python3 terminal open overnight, I found these wierd characters (screenshot attached). I exited the interpreter with Ctrl+D and the bad chars persisted on both the command prompt and anything I type.

A workaround is to open another bash terminal.

I left the terminal as-is just to see what would happen to it and it came back normal (see updated screenshot)
