TAB Autocomplete doesn't seem to work consistently

New user here! So far I'm very much enjoying testing this application for my needs. I figured I would post a question here to hopefully get some feedback from the community.

When using Shift+Cmd+G to arbitrarily go to a location, it allows me to use the TAB key to autocomplete the path via a dropdown menu, which is great. Unfortunately it seems this behavior doesn't carry over to other commands, like copying or moving selected files using the F5 and F6 keys.

Is this the expected behaviour? Logic would dictate that this functionality would carry over to the other commands but on my system it doesn't seem to be the case. Am I doing something wrong on my end? Perhaps a configuration setting I may have missed?

F5/F6 dialogs follow the "normal" MacOS UX and show the autocomplete suggestions menu when the default shortcut is pressed, which is Opt + Esc. It's actually can be overridden in System Settings -> Keyboard -> Keyboard Shortcuts.
The Shift + Cmd + G dialog breaks the default UX and hijacks the Tab key to show the autocomplete menu.
Frankly I don't remember why this particular dialog was done this way, maybe it was to mimic what Finder has been doing back then.
Nowadays they've completely revamped this dialog, which I personally quite like.

Opt +Esc does work indeed, just tab is much more ergonomic and convenient. I have yet to find where to override this in keyboard shortcuts. Any chance we could possibly see a more consistent handling of these dialogs in future versions? I'm personally leaning towards making TAB to autocomplete the default behavior as it's that way across multiple systems and it's probably what most people are already accustomed to.

Tab is mainly used to move the focus between different controls in a dialog, so it's not that straightforward...
