Is it at all possible to add support for SVN. Or would this best be suited for a complimentary gem. AKA svn-mina.

Logged in https://trello.com/c/clxxvuHr. This is definitely something I'd like to be supported. We may implement this in a separate gem. Or if you'd like this feature asap, feel free to fork mina or implement a separate gem like mina-svn. If you do, let us know.

Couldn't this be implemented by using the standard git-svn? https://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/git-svn.html

Since mina is just calling git on the commandline an svn.rb could just override those tasks and use the git-svn calls.

I'm not going to implement this given my lack of experience with SVN... but contributions are very much welcome.
