A lot of people voiced the issue of Mosaic name being taken by the famous NCSA Mosaic browser that defined an era of web browsing. This name collision was intentional, as stated in the Design Decisions doc, and was meant to pay tribute to the mentioned NCSA Mosaic browser.

@niutech voiced a good points in #24 that made me think about this issue and decided to start a conversation about name suggestions.

Moist

Landscape of browsers dried out and Moist should bring a bit of water to this land.

Alternatives: Humid, Monsoon

@mlajtos Thanks for changing the name! Why not just Tile/Tiled/Tiling Browser? This will instantly reveal its selling point.

@niutech I don't like boring names. Following your convention it should be named "Tiling Browser with built-in uBlock Origin that also do other neat stuff" That isn't a name, that is a description.

@michalklempa I like Tesselo (stunning images). A bit long, but stays true to the original name. Following this theme, I also like Plaid -- it is catchy as hell. Also in this vicinity are: mesh, lattice, matrix, grid, grille. All are too general and technical.
