I personally believe that using a normal domain instead of the one provided by GH Pages would be beneficial.

Something like
https://profile-embedder.cf
is much easier to remember than
https://locness3.github.io/scratch-profile-embed/landing/

Freenom provides free domains for these TLD's: .tk, '.cf', '.ml', '.gq', and '.ga'.

I don't wanna use freenom; if I take the domain for too short but it expires, I need to get a new one, and I have no way of alerting users.
But I'm thinking about making people switch to the netlify address (scratch-profile-embed.netlify.com) which already exists and won't be deleted by itself while being easy to remember.

Why not get a cheap .com from namecheap? I got one for a client for £6 per year

@githubfan Well, that's something I would need to see with my parents. I try to never buy subscriptions and services
