Get more people involved in moin development

I would like to get more people involved in the moin project and make a contribution.

Ideas:

• Adding a CONTRIBUTE.md file
• Updating and, where possible, simplifying the installation and development documentation
• Updating README.rd, adding the Moin logo, linking to the CONTRIBUTE document
• Adding the moin project to up-for-grabs.net, see https://github.com/up-for-grabs/up-for-grabs.net

Questions:

1. Is the IRC chat still used? I never used it. The alternative is using github discussions.
2. Can we rename the default branch to main (see https://github.com/github/renaming)
3. The Acknowledgements page linked in the README is quit old. All contributions starting about 2012 are logged by github. What to do with the section in the README?

IRC chat is still used, but little action. Log is here: https://libera.irclog.whitequark.org/moin/2025-02-06, no comments in February, one in January.

For me, renaming master to main has little benefit, may cause confusion: https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/configuring-branches-and-merges-in-your-repository/managing-branches-in-your-repository/renaming-a-branch#updating-a-local-clone-after-a-branch-name-changes.
If you want to change to main, I do not object.

For README, just change acknowledgements link to https://github.com/moinwiki/moin/graphs/contributors

All of your ideas are OK.
