Centerpiece of the mod.
To take photographs with a Camera you'll need a Film Roll. To insert it, open camera attachments menu with sneak+use
. Then just use the Camera to look through the Viewfinder and compose you shots.
While looking through Viewfinder, press sneak
button to open the Camera Controls - where you would be able to:
- Change Shutter Speed (brightens or darkens the image)
- Cycle Composition Guides
- Turn on/off Flash (if installed)
- See current Focal Length and Frames count
For those who want to be the main subject of a photo - there is a selfie mode. Accessed by the F5 key (by default). When looking through Viewfinder - F5 will toggle only between first-person and third-person-front views.
There are 4 attachments you can put on/in the camera:
- Film - lets you capture the light - Custom Films
- Flash - illuminates nearby area - Custom Flashes
- Lens - allows to zoom in further - Custom Lenses
- Filter - changes how camera sees the world - Custom Filters
Final result of the process. Can be placed in a Photograph Frame, Photo Album or shared with friends.
Photograph with a sepia-like effect. Looks pretty classy if you ask me.
Created by crafting a Photograph with brown dye (#exposure:photo_agers
)
Photograph printed using mysterious process of isolating color channels and printing them one by one.
- Crafted by combining Book and Quill with Phantom Membrane
- Can have up to 16 pages. Page can have a Photograph and some text under it
- Can be placed on a Lectern and in a Chiseled Bookshelf
- Can be signed to give it a name and prevent editing the Album in any way
Used to print the Photographs from film negatives. Requires paper and dyes for every print.
Redstone:
- When the Lightroom Block receives the redstone pulse - it will start printing the selected frame.
- After the print - next frame will become selected.
- After printing last frame - Lightroom will eject the negative through the front. (can be prevented by blocking front side with a non-transparent block)
- This allows you to fully automate printing of the Photographs.
Special filter for the Camera, that allows loading images from a file on player's PC.
- To load the image - rename the Projector to a file path in an anvil, then expose a film with the filter attached.
- File path should be an absolute path to the file:
D:/Images/cat.png
. Extension is not required. - Most popular image formats are supported (png, jpg, bmp, gif (will not be animated), and some others).
- Transparency is supported, but only if the pixel is fully transparent.
- File path should be an absolute path to the file:
- Projector has two modes: Dithered and Clear.
- Dithered with add grain to the image same way the regular photographs do.
- Clear is useful when you want to load already dithered images (photographs from other worlds, for example).
- Projector is consumed on use (make sure that path is correct, as it will be consumed even if image wasn't loaded).
Fancy display for your Photographs.
- Has three sizes: 1x1, 2x2, 3x3.
- Placed similar to Paintings, in that it would fill all available space that it can. But unlike a Painting, Photograph Frame can be placed on floor and ceiling as well.
- Use an Axe on a frame to remove the border. Apply a Stick to it to restore the border.
- Use a Glow Ink Sac on a frame to make it glow.
