[Homepage rebuild] - Weird behavior of shortcut rows after changing the orientation #24593

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install FF.
  2. Make sure you have multiple added shortcuts.
  3. Set number of rows to 1.
  4. Turn the device in landscape.
  5. Turn the device in portrait.
  6. Observe the shortcuts.

Expected behavior

Shortcuts are correctly displayed on a sigle row.

Actual behavior

Shortcuts are incorrectly displayed, overlapping.

  • Build version: v136 (50550)
  • First seen version: N/A

Thanks Diana Andreea Barladeanu ! It seems this issue happens only with the toolbar redesign OFF. Let me know if you see this as well.

I will have a ticket to address this issue for Phase II, so won’t be backported for v136.

Indeed, it doesn’t reproduce with the new toolbar, Cyndi Chin .
