Grouping same organization's multiple domain names would improve Lightbeam's readibility by an order of magnitude, for both non-specialists and specialist.
By same top domain name (TLD) would be a start, though covering e.g. google and DoubleClick as per @unchartedxx's proposition in merge nodes/sites #95 would be an improvement.
It could be done whether by colors, or by grouping the nodes in a light circle/square (think of Apps groups in stock Android or Chrome OS).
Automaticaly like in about:profile, then by the user as per @k88hudson's also in #95.
And would come yet handier when Domain filtering (#705) and better diff between 'referer' and 'set cookies' come to Lightbeam.
Note I have Lightbeam installed in half of my profiles for years but hardly ever open it anymore because of my unability to gain a better understanding of the trackers from it.

Sites like
google.com
andgoogle-analytics.com
are owned by the same organization and should ideally be grouped together in the UI.I don't have an easy mechanism to suggest, but I'm noting that it's frequently requested feature.
