The problem looks valid but we won't fix it (maybe we will revisit it in the future)

React Native is not considered a development target for Material-ui and it should be.
Summary 💡
It could use styled components as a stylesheet baseline that is cross platform
window references would need to be dealt with and some functionality would require .native.js .web.js style component splits.
Motivation 🔦
I really love material-ui, but we are moving in a write once, run anywhere multi platform scenario that includes web and mobile. In order to continue using material-ui, it needs to be part of this scenario.
The material-ui team members that I talked to about this say it's something that's not on the roadmap and that would require community interest to be considered (hence this issue). Personally I feel that pushing the boundaries and showing the way requires to not wait for the mainstream to catch up.
So, if you want material-ui on React Native. Give this issue a like!
