Initial design of the pricing page https://www.figma.com/design/famD2DnZkd1G4vacqXGCi8/%5BARCHIVE%5D-Balkan-Brothers-Iteration?node-id=2615-11234&node-type=canvas&t=eRWxKKtKruaPloDl-0 for context.

  • 1. We could change to this:
SCR-20241101-lqsu

to reduce the font-size from 14px to 13px and move the description away from the action button, making the pricing page feels a bit lighter.

  • 2. We should either use business/working days in the cell or in the tooltip explain that those durations are for business/working days
SCR-20241101-lseg
  • 3. We should see the price of priority support on the pricing page.
  • 4. It feels like we should be able to easy see what priority support gives on the pricing page. We could move this info to the next page but from the UX of, e.g. Kendo UI pricing page, it feels great to be able to quickly figure out what this gives you. it's a bit hidden in the tooltip, I didn't think about checking it.
  • 5. Maybe a design opportunity here?
SCR-20241101-luyx
  • 6. Nonbreaking space missing:
SCR-20241101-lvrf
  • 7. Priority add-on for the Pro plan. Pro is about the ease of use with the rest of the framework, Premium is about rich features that don't exist in the open-source. So ok, why not. But also no objection to not do it.
  • 8. Priority add-on is missing issue escalation, I think it's a large part of the value of this.
  • 9. Guaranteed response time for Premium. I think it should be 48 hrs. 72 doesn't feel right.
  • 10. Enterprise plan. If we do this, I think that we should list new features on the pricing page, things that we would want to offer, and gauge the interest, before, one day, make this price publicly listed. I think the value of the Enterprise plan is to make Premium not the most expensive plan, to test those ideas, and to make it easier to find the contact sales link. Ideas for things that we could add: https://www.notion.so/mui-org/mui-x-Pricing-changes-2024-e5e32b7e0f9f4fbdb34afd7f6efede49?pvs=4#124cbfe7b6608066bbdefc936134f014. On the cons of having it, to be carefully that it can make the Pro plan less appealing.

- made annual pricing main (monthly only shows below)
- added a billing explainer
- row header  borderRadius: 1 -> borderRadius: '12px 0 0 12px',
- removed priority support from Pro
- priority support pricing added in the table

Oh funny, https://saucelabs.com/pricing, https://www.browserstack.com/pricing, https://www.lambdatest.com/pricing, they are all locked in a monthly display price, billed annual price.

they are all locked in a monthly display price, billed annual price.

I think it's only because they support both monthly and annual billing, and show the smaller number to make it appear more affordable. But in our case, we only support annual billing.

Hey @siriwatknp I need a small help: the preview for iPad Pro is broken (it's ok for other devices). The enterprise column is going beyond the width of the entire page. I tried, but couldn't find how to fix it. Could you have a look? Not urgent.
Thanks!

Came across: https://www.growthunhinged.com/p/state-of-saas-pricing-changes-2024. May be it can help us design the priority support feature better. Something like: https://linear.app/pricing? cc: @zanivan

Hey @prakhargupta1, I was talking to @joserodolfofreitas, and we agreed that we should take a few steps back before jumping into a PR for this. Since it’s a sensitive page, we could explore more alternatives first to be more certain about what we want to guide users toward.
