long touch reduces drawer lags

On high to medium end android devices, opening material-ui side drawer has substantial lag. This lag problem appears solved for homepage with latest release but the components page still is not as touch responsive as on iphone / web in reference to material-ui docs.

I also find that long touch (press and hold) makes it more responsive , only when we do touch and let go immediately on hamburger menu, lags increase in component page with drawer

Has it to do with touch tap plugin that material-ui uses or we are doing some optimization in home page which is not yet done with components page for drawer ?

I'm closing this issue as has been opened for quite some time and is inactive.
