  • I have searched the issues of this repository and believe that this is not a duplicate.

Summary 💡

Provide an alternative UX to reorder columns within the "Column selector" popup.

Motivation 🔦

The UX of drag and dropping columns inside the grid can be disorienting for some. It's challenging to use on mobile. This is a continuation of #345. The feature is part of the pro plan, for consistency with https://material-ui.com/components/data-grid/columns/#column-reorder.

Benchmark

It's a bit challenging to find prior-art of this feature, it doesn't seem to be very common
