The problem

I have 2 squeezelite players on RPI4 for multiroom audio, one in the children's bedroom (Kinderkamer), one in the master bedroom(Slaapkamer). These players are in a slimproto player group (Slaapkamers)
Every morning at 7:05 i have a script in HA that plays a 2-song playlist on the group player, that works very well.
The issue is that allthoug i send a single playlist to the player group, the player in Kinderkamer repeats the queue once. so the two songs are first played on the player group nicely and in perfect sync, but when the 2 songs are over, ONLY the player Kinderkamer plays he 2 songs again. I have tried deleteing the playergroup and set thel up again, checked for sure that none of the player's repeat mode is on, but it always gets back to the queueu on that player repeating.

How to reproduce

Set up 2 slimproto players, put them in a slimproto player group and send a playlist to it from within home assistant. At first it will play the queue, but secondly it repeats the queue on a single player in the group.

Music Providers

Filesystem (remote share) to a SMB share that contains my music library.

Player Providers

Slimproto. version Squeezelite v1.9.8-1317 linux binairy on Raspberry PI 4. One player raspbian, one player OSMC but on both players the squeezelite has been installed with apt-get.

Additional information

I have completely deleted the player group and players and set them up again, also did a delete of the binairies on the RPIs and reinstalled them - no difference. Did not find any threads or issues in FAQ nor troubleshooting page.
The logfile contains the relevant info from the start of the automation untill the end of the queue. on 2024-11-28 07:19:33.275 you can see that MA sends the playlist again to only player Kinderkamer. In the wake-up script, i send a playlist with two files to the playergroup, so there is nothing in the automation that points to repeating the queue.

Since this happens during waking up, i wasn't really fully awake when the issue rises. But it's actually even stranger: from the two songs in the playlist, only the second song is repeated. I stated in this issue that the playlist is repeated on a single player, but it's not the complete playlist: only the second song is repeated on a single player. Sorry about that.
If you check the timestamps in the logfile you'll see that the first play is from 7:05 untill 7:19 - so about 14 minutes of music. on 7:19 the playlist is sent again to a single player, but playing ends on 7:28, so only 8 minutes of music, which is the length of the second song.
