Just noticed that we never made a release of the tools for MEI 4, and the one for MEI 5 is also still missing.

Thanks @rettinghaus . I remember there was some reason why we did not make a release in this repo, but I do not remember the reason itself. @bwbohl ?

The reason was that making a release with a version number matching the Release version of MEI would imply that all tools were tested accordingly to work with or produce valid MEI 5. As we did not go that deep, we didn’t issue a 5.0 release of the encoding tools.

Maybe we should move away from matching version numbers with the music-encoding repo?
