Obviously with tumblr themes you have to embed the css in the header. But it would be great if you could actually edit an external style sheet with thimble and avoid all that constant scrolling, I tried and it rejects the external style sheet completely.

I store all my external CSS in the /assets/ directory and reference them that way as external sheets and modify them separately. When I go to launch the theme I plan to upload the stylesheet to the static server and update the theme to point there rather than the relative location on my localhost.
This seems like it would be best solved in the developer's work flow feature rather than a feature built into Thimble.
