We already list

Together the Boards and Partnerships make up the Integrated Care System for an area.

We are now seeing Integrated Care Systems with websites, Twitter accounts, and making statements in the media.

Options:

  • Add them comprehensively
  • Add those with a character of an independent body distinct from their ICP and ICB
  • Don't list them

I suggest not deciding yet and wait and see how things develop.

We're also seeing "bodies" with names like:

North East and North Cumbria NHS

and

NHS Devon

They often have websites, twitter accounts, logos etc.

Are these bodies? Are they operational names, akin to a name a company might use as a "trading as" name?

Are they alternative names for the the Integrated Care System in an area?

Do they just mean "The NHS in [area]" and encompass all sorts of NHS bodies and providers of NHS services in an area?

Idea:

  • We could list eg. "NHS Devon", but only as a placeholder, and link from that page to NHS bodies in Devon. While we could experiment we might want a special tag for such bodies.
