Select the SSD (XIO) option from the menu and hit okay. Next, enter the frame geometry 640 (width) by 480 (height) in the subsequent dialogue. This sets the frame geometry to match the test mode, and is also the geometry that was LiveView will then launch.
Press Ctrl (command on Mac) + O to open the file selection dialog. Alternatively, select File > Open from the drop down menu. In the file selection dialog, navigate to the directory containing the LiveView source code, which should be called LiveViewOpenSource. There is a subfolder of this directory called "examples", which contains two data sets. In the XIO mode, directories should be selected, rather than single files.
