Upgrade to node.js v16 breaks this library.. other ncd node-red nodes no longer work

All of my ncd nodes worked fine on node.js v12 under Node-Red v 2.1.3 . Unfortunately, when I upgraded to Node.js v16, they broke. Even doing an NPM rebuild doesn't fix it. uninstalling and reinstalling this library doesn't fix it either.

Reverted back to node.js v12 and it works again, but I'd hate for your excellent collection of nodes to get left behind....
