[Task] Figure out what is wrong with NAJ + Wallet Selector #1429

Background

The community keeps complaining about problems with naj + wallet selector. We need to figure out:

• Are the latest versions of NAJ + Wallet Selector compatible?
• Are they compatible with all currently maintained versions of node.js?
• Are they easy to add to next.js and vite templates?

Does near-js/client solve any of the above problems? (if any)

User Story

As a user, I want to be able to easily use both near-api-js and wallet-selector in my frontend projects

Acceptance Criteria

• We update our canonical examples to the latests versions of naj and wallet-selector, and they work
• We test compatibility with all currently maintained versions of node.js
