Not at all in reality in quite clearly explained in the Alexander Skidanov Paper. It just takes one round with basically same hypothesis. |

Hello everyone,
I recently found this paper (https://eprint.iacr.org/2020/498.pdf) by Adam Gągol, Jędrzej Kula et al. (2020) about Threshold ECDSA for decentralised asset custody.
In the case of threshold PoS used by Near Protocol and the article of Alexandre Skidanov in 2019 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cKHLMnulYXc9Mv_AHAHbwNeMtrIUXSuk/view it seems to not integrate this protocol purposed in the first paper.
For the cryptographic team ( @ilblackdragon @SkidanovAlex) wouldn’t it be necessary to integrate such type of validations (DAG with Units generated) to get a better decentralisation of protocol without loosing any kind of security ?
Article is very long and quite difficult but maybe some people could be interesting to talk about theses questions.
