icmp is not able to place its result into an arbirary register, although it technically should be able to

wasmtime/cranelift/codegen/src/isa/zkasm/inst/mod.rs

Line 489 in ce6793c

collector.reg_fixed_def(rd, a0());

is the relevant portion – it forces icmp to always produce result in the register A
