Jupyter server config seems to have the ability to delete things to trash rather than deleting permanently via send2trash. send2trash is installed in the default envirnoment, and when I delete something using send2trash directly, the file shows up in the ~/.local/share/Trash directory. However, when I delete files via the jupyterlab UI, they do not show up in that folder.
Nevertheless, this would be a useful feature for users who accidentally delete a file via the Jupyterlab UI.
Value and/or benefit
Recover accidentally deleted work.
Anything else?
