Bug description

After an automatic update notification. i press install and it seems it uninstall hidhide from my system (the shortcut from my desktop gone). and it ask for a restart. after i press restart there s a window saying installation was interrupted so i just continue true the setup as you would normaly. it did install it again and ask for a restart. after the next restart my hidhide config is gone so i have to setup everything again from the beginning.

Steps to reproduce

  1. update either manually or automatically from the reminder.
  2. install the update.
  3. Bug happens (i would expect it to just update it and keep all the configs instead of deleting the old version of hidhide then reinstalling the new version but with no configs)

Actual result: Describe here what happens after you run the steps above (i.e. the buggy behaviour)
Expected result: Describe here what should happen after you run the steps above (i.e. what would be the correct behaviour)

Any other helpful information

i just do what you normally did when people want to update their program which click yes. yes. yes. and i expect it to update the program and keep all my settings. but it instead uninstall asking for a restart. saying the installation was interrupted. then i have to install it again. lost of settings. and a lot of frustration. it happens to me already twice. for this update and the update before. i thought the current update was to fix this exact behaviour but i guess i was wrong.
