Galaxy S8 still not auto-uploading in power save

My galaxy S8 still does not auto-upload unless I completely disable power save mode. Mid-power save will not allow me to upload.

GitMate.io thinks possibly related issues are #754 (Auto upload still erroneous), #671 (No Thumbnails shown in Auto Upload dialogue), #1260 (Grey-out auto upload options until enabled), #3095 (auto-upload ignores "subfolders" settings), and #1534 (Auto upload does not work in RC6).

We have to rely on Android/vendor specific algorithms if the app is allowed to do something in background.
I fear that we cannot do here more, or what would you expect?

You can however exclude only NC app from power save mode (at least this is working on S9+).

I can confirm, that autoupload doesn't work for Nexus 5 with Android 6.0.1 and Nextcloud client 3.4.1 and Nextcloud 14 .
However, just to tease you, autoupload works fine with said configuration and Owncloud client 2.7.0 .

Yes you can use the owncloud app with a nextcloud setup. At least till Owncloud client 2.7.0. Owncloud client 2.9.xxx doesn't work any more.
