I'm not sure how exactly the software determines idle state, but the miner was attempting to start last night during gaming (2.0.1.11, Win10 Pro 1709, 7700k, 1080Ti). I suspect it was because I was using Oculus VR and was not using the keyboard or mouse. I also suspect the same problem would happen if using only a Gamepad but haven't tested yet. As opposed to input polling, perhaps idle CPU/GPU polling could be used instead? Otherwise, it would be beneficial to gamers mining in idle time to expand input polling to include other HID and controller devices.

I have it kick in when I'm watching a full screen video. I use SVP, which heavily uses the CPU and GPU, so it's a bad combination. Idle CPU/GPU detection would fix that conflict.
