It is a pleasure to introduce a groundbreaking web application tailored for stress inversion calculations involving a group of moment tensors associated with seismic events within predefined geographical regions. This innovative solution utilizes the STRESSINVERSE software and seamlessly accesses Moment Tensors through the FDSNWS-event endpoint, all within the convenience of the integrated FDSNWS-event of the Gisola software.
What makes this application truly exceptional is its ability to keep calculations up-to-date, adapting to the emergence of new data for each defined region in real time. To establish the calculation areas, it draws upon area sources that have been proposed for the Greek region in recent times. Notably, users can also manually define their desired geographical regions, accommodating a wide range of individual research needs.
Furthermore, users are given the power to fine-tune their selection of moment tensors by specifying key parameters such as date, magnitude, depth, and rake. This feature provides researchers with a versatile and tailored tool to meet their precise requirements.
The software is developed by Emmanouela Vagianou and currently it is shared under an open-source license at: https://github.com/Kayieni/thesis_app
