Unable to control bulb via home assistant

One Cync plug and one bulb. Plug works fine in home assistant. Unable to control bulb via home assistant. Home assistant shows current status of bulb when being turned on/off or brightness change via cync iPhone app.

I am having a similar issue except it is with all of my Cync lights and switches. However, I am also noticing a significant delay in the actions in the Cync app itself. I can control them in the Cync app, but Home Assistant will not turn them on/off. This just started for me after upgrading to HA Core 2024.2.4 from 2024.1.6

I was quite excited to see some updates come through so I thought I would give it another go. Alas, integration still wont let me control bulb, only displays status
