Node.js Foundation Technical Steering Committee (TSC) Meeting 2018-08-15 #585
Comments
@joyeecheung AFAICT (mostly from the last comments in the issue by @maclover7 and @refack), we're OK to remove nodejs/build#1337 for now. Do you agree? (Asking you because you're the one that added the tsc-agenda label to that issue.) |
@Trott I've removed the tsc-agenda tag |
I'll not be able to attend the meeting. |
The TSC has private segment stuff to discuss this week that will likely be very time-consuming, and there is consensus so far on the mailing list to cancel the public meeting this week and have only a private segment. Let's plan to make an official determination 24 hours before the start of the meeting, so that would be in a little more than 3 hours from now. Wanted to leave something here so there was at least some window for public comment. |
We're going to have a private meeting this week and will return next week with a public meeting as usual. |

We stream our conference call straight to YouTube so anyone can listen to it live, it should start playing at https://www.youtube.com/c/nodejs+foundation/live when we turn it on. There's usually a short cat-herding time at the start of the meeting and then occasionally we have some quick private business to attend to before we can start recording & streaming. So be patient and it should show up.
Many of us will be on IRC in #node-dev on Freenode if you'd like to interact, we have a Q/A session scheduled at the end of the meeting if you'd like us to discuss anything in particular. @nodejs/collaborators in particular if there's anything you need from the TSC that's not worth putting on as a separate agenda item, this is a good place for that
