I have created the v11.x and v11.x-staging branches in preparation for the Node.js v11.0.0 release on October 23rd. Please do not push to these branches as I will be resetting them often as we get closer to the release.

Expect the initial release proposal PR to be opened in early September.

Expect the first test builds by mid September.

I will be targeting October 2nd as the semver-major cut-off date.

I will close this tracking issue once the initial proposal PR is opened.
