Musical symbols are misplaced. Sharp (♯) is too big and too low, Natural (♮) is too low, Flat (♭) is ok. The problem is worst on Noto Serif fonts where spacing is wrong with too much space before and after symbols or these symbols are missing.

Worth mentioning that in Noto Sans Music the symbols look better balanced:
Maybe we should steal the symbols for Music into Symbols. But another way to look at this is that if you are wanting to use the symbols in a musical context, Noto Sans Music might be a better font to use instead of Noto Sans Symbols.
In fact, I'm hoping to find a font that allows you to write down text entirely and that at least contains the ♯♭ symbols elegantly so you don't have to change fonts. Fonts that replace ordinary characters with musical symbols also have the disadvantage of not being broadcastable as plain text. They are not very interoperable. If I'm not mistaken, this is the main aim of the Noto font, to be effective in most contexts. My idea was to create an open alternative to Microsoft fonts that incorporate this typeface.
