when plotting quartic graphs with a y-intercept that is not 0 the calculator shows an incorrect value for the minimum point.
For example the polynomial function x⁴-16 actually has a minimum point at x=0 but the calculator shows the minimum point to be 8E-6. This is even the case on the simulator.

Environment

  • Epsilon version (23.2.3 on physical calculator and 23.2.1 on online simulator).
  • The platform(s) on which the problem happens: online simulator, actual device

This is probably a rounding issue. For example, this result is supposed to be 0.

Thanks, a bug was created internally. We should be able to improve this behavior
