NYTimes app's photo viewer has black shade behind the caption so that when there is a long caption and while image, the caption is still readable.. How do I imitate that from this library?

I think there is a shadow from this library as well. hmm. It just seems it is darker in NYTimes app. Is there a way I can make it darker from the library?

It would be great if there was a way somehow to modify the NYTPhotosOverlayView. +1 for this issue
