Note that the wording:

optionally retrieve status of Verifiable Credential

has been replaced by:

optional use of Token Status Lists to retrieve the status of the Digital Credential

This change is important as the current wording may let think that a Status provider is necessarily needed to know the status of a Digital Credential, whereas it is not the case.
