The current definition is :

Verifiable Credential (VC): An assertion with claims about a Subject that is cryptographically secured by an Issuer (usually by a digital signature).

The following change is proposed:

Digital Credential (DC): cryptographically secured statements about a Subject issued by a Digital Credential Issuer.
