While viewing an image, I may want to know the resolution or file type, or image name so that I can select the file in another program's file picker. The current way to get this information is to go back into browser mode and look at it there. This is cumbersome. Therefore, I think it would be useful to have an optional status bar with image information in the image viewer portion of phototonic. There's already an optional toolbar in this mode, so I don't think it would violate any design principles.
