Hi everybody,
I have a question about stockfish + nnue.
I made an interface to use Stockfish. I've tried it for some time and it works but, since nnue support was added, I have a weird behavior. When I start the analysis with nnue support (for example at the start of the game) Stockfish shows moves like 1.e4 or d4. Suppose I now turn off Stockfish and then always restart it with neural support. At this point I get a move like 1.a3 in the analysis. If I do the same operations by switching neural networks every time I deactivate and activate Stockfish then the analysis moves are normal. It almost seems that if you deactivate and reactivate Stockfish with the same neural network, some settings remain that modify the new analyzes. Keep in mind that between the deactivation and reactivation of Stockfish the memory is not cleared because the interface program remains active, the analysis is only stopped. Is there anyone able to make me understand this behavior? Is there a way to reset the neural network after each use?
Thank you and regards,
Giordano
