Problem description

When a user uploads a folder containing multiple tabular files, the ODE does not automatically read the data in order to describe and validate it. Instead, each file must be clicked on individually to start this process, and it must be done manually, one by one.

Once the folder is fully uploaded in the ODE, icons next to tabular files are shown in grey. When the user starts clicking on each of these files, the index process starts.

Steps to reproduce it

  • Create a local folder on your laptop with multiple tabular files.
  • Open the ODE.
  • Go to ADD, select FOLDER

Suggested solution

  • Index tabular data in folders automatically.

For the stable version, this action will be manual. We hope to make it automatic in future releases.
