Detailed Description

As some libraries don't support require anymore (e.g. chalk), we should migrate to ESM modules.

However, there are some other libraries that need some tricks to adapt to ESM modules for some features (e.g. yargs)

Context

It would be beneficial in order to use the latest version of some libraries that that don't support require anymore.
