hi, we have not tackled this yet, and we won't have the bandwidth for 1.6 release. We'll try to squeeze it in for 1.7

Is this something that would be easy to implement as a custom connector? What would be the engineering approach / closest comparison within the existing connectors?

@vsinha we are not going to ship this. If anyone from OSS is interested in contributing they can re-open push a PR
