Am migrating to a c band OMT with twin Norsat lnb's. Intention is to switch a diseqc switch using one port for horizontal polarity and another for vertical. Else I need to use a voltage switch after the diseqc switch with a dual port 18 volt bias tee.
Voltage switch searches so far have shown they supply the same 13/18 volts to the lnb's.

Inconsistent results using a 22 kHz tone switch after the multiswitch, and lnb voltage/current requirements mandate a constant voltage at the lnb pair. Hence a bias tee before the lnb's is mandatory.

Simplifying the cabling has revealed that duplicating satellites in the satellites.xml file. With slight name and orbital position edits allow me to now insert all vertical transponders in one section of the xml and horizontal transponders in the other.
I use a diseqc actuator control. So orbital usals relations do not matter.
The file modification works very well.

An added option in tuner setup to select different diseqc ports depending on polarity would be extremely advantageous.
Insertion loss of the extra switches could be minimized in an orthomode configuration..

I'm hoping this is agreeable and perhaps could be attainable.
Thanks!
