nginx not getting restarted for some reason after letsencrypt certificate gets updated

This shows up by the certificate on the live site being expired but when you run letsencrypt it shows that the certificate is up to date and when you restart nginx manually with "service nginx restart" everything works again.

If we don't fix this the issue will happen again every few months which is very boring.
