Modeling endosymbiosis

Hello! I'm new to COBRA and I'm trying to model endosymbiosis in COBRApy. I would like to take two existing metabolic reconstruction models and create a new model where one is contained within the other as a new compartment. i.e. what I'm trying to do is: create a new compartment ("s": "endosymbiont") within model A and then copy all of the properties (genes, reactions, metabolites, etc) of model B into this new compartment. Would anyone be able to advise on how I could go about this?
