From 479fe46e072720d6f15458a2b728a097036f8bd6 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Pawan Date: Thu, 6 Aug 2020 15:18:56 +0530 Subject: [PATCH] fix(zfspv): rounding off the volume size to Gi and Mi ZFS does not create the zvol if volume size is not multiple of the volblocksize. There are use cases where customer will create a PVC with size as 5G, which will be 5 * 1000 * 1000 * 1000 bytes and this is not the multiple of default volblocksize 8k. In ZFS, volblocksize and recordsize must be power of 2 from 512B to 1M, so keeping the size in the form of Gi or Mi should be sufficient to make volsize multiple of volblocksize/recordsize. The basic idea is to find +// the longest contiguous matching subsequence that contains no "junk" +// elements (R-O doesn't address junk). This does not yield minimal edit +// sequences, but does tend to yield matches that "look right" to people. +// +// SequenceMatcher tries to compute a "human-friendly diff" between two +// sequences. Unlike e.g. UNIX(tm) diff, the fundamental notion is the +// longest *contiguous* & junk-free matching subsequence. That's what +// catches peoples' eyes.
